After being in rescue for 1.5 years, Corduroy is longing for a forever home of her own. This sweet girl may greet new people with a bit of a grumpy face at first, but once you earn her trust, she is eager to soak up affection. The moment she walks up for a head rub or melts in for chin scratches with a soft purr is worth every bit of patience it takes to get there.
Cordy has plenty of tortitude and personality. She is talkative and uses her cute meow to ask for treats, attention, or her favorite thing of all: catnip. She enjoys scratching posts, crinkle toys, and toys with bells, and she likes to play on her own terms. She also loves her Churu treats and will happily let you know when she is ready for one.
Under her sass, Cordy is a sensitive, shy girl who simply wants a quiet, cozy home where she can feel safe. She loves comfortable spots, especially the windowsill at night or a soft bed where she can relax near her favorite person.
Cordy is our longest-term resident and has been waiting 1.5 years for someone to fall in love with her gentle heart and quirky charm. Corduroy is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV combo tested negative. As far as we know she spent the first 4 years of her life outside having litter after litter of kittens on a busy street, now she is finally comfy and safe. Her estimated birthday is 6/17/2020.

The first step is fill out our adoption application. This will allow us to match you with the little muffin(s) to complete your family!

Approve Application
Next we will review your application. Please be patient as we take the time to do this! We generally get back to applicants within 48 hours.

Meet the Pet
Once you are approved, you can schedule a video chat or meeting with the kittens! We are always happy to chat about our babies too.

Pay Fee
Our adoption fees help to cover some of the cost of vetting and allows us to save more cats/kittens!
5.
Sign Adoption Contract
Once it is time to take your cat home, we will go over and sign our adoption contract.
6.
Take the Pet Home
Finally it is time to take your fur baby home! We have poured our hearts into each of our rescue babies, so we love receiving updates!!

Through our adoption process we look for families who can provide their adopted cat/kitten with the vet care and attention they need. We also make sure they aren't adopting a pet when it isn't allowed in their lease. Our goal is to find loving, stable homes for all of our babies.
