We are guessing Whitneys age between 12 and 14 years old. This sweet cuddly girl just wants someone she can be with all day. She gets stressed and barks constantly if she can not be with her person. She is welcoming of strangers and loves to cuddle with the other animals in her foster home. Whitney does have some medical issues. She is starting to go into kidney failure so we have her on a kidney diet. She has also had 1 seizure that we have seen since in foster care. Right now its just a monitoring thing.
Whitney can NOT live in an apt setting due to her barking. We do require adopters to have current pets current on vaccinations and heartworm prevention. She is located in the Wichita. KS area. If interested in giving her a forever home for her golden years please fill put an application at www.tinyurl.com/mpmrapp

Adopting a Friend is the most important commitment humans can do for themselves as well as for the pet. It is a huge decision and one that should never be taken lightly. Understand that the dog you get from us has already lost it's home and therefore our goal is to make this placement final and forever. Pet adoption is a lifetime commitment that we take very seriously. If you are interested in adopting, we ask that you email us at equisetteracres@yahoo.com and we will get back to you with our adoption information.

More about this rescue
Our Mission is simple. To rescue Miniature Pinschers who are unwanted, abandoned, neglected, mistreated or are victims of inhumane treatment and then find responsible, loving and lifetime homes. To educate potential owners about the Miniature Pinscher and their special requirements, to ensure an educated decision when selecting the breed. To counsel owners on solving problems to help them keep their Miniature Pinscher. To educate animal control officers and shelter staff on how to identify the Miniature Pinscher and the special requirements and characteristics of the breed to aid in proper evaluation and placement.
Our Dogs are evaluated by a veterinarian for common health issues, are given required medical care, spayed or neutered and microchipped. We screen every applicant very carefully to ensure that they understand the responsibilities involved in caring properly for a pet. Our responsibility is to place our dogs into homes that will best meet their needs, both physically and emotionally. We look for people with patience, loving hearts, and an understanding of a min pin's needs. A detailed application from which we conduct reference verifications and a home visit with all household members present are pre-adoption requirements. A follow up visit may be scheduled at a future date to ensure that everything is working out well for the dog as well as the family. During this process, our pets are safely and lovingly cared for in private, approved foster homes in which we observe and evaluate each minpin for temperament and behavior, continue with the pet's socialization and training, and provide for their physical well being and health.
