My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wayside’s Canine Behavior Center – I`d love to show off all the cool things I’ve learned at Wayside! Please arrive at the shelter before 4pm on our open adoption days to meet me!

My Friends at Wayside say:
-I’m a shy dog and need someone willing to be patient with me.
-I am eligible for a Slumber Pawty, a 7-10 day in-home trial period. Please visit our website for additional information.

My home needs are:
-I need a home with kids 6 years old and older since I tend to be nervous around new people and loud noises.
-A fenced yard is a must for me! I do not know how to walk on a leash, so I need a secure area to go out for potty breaks.
-Wayside recommends I meet other dogs in the home before adoption to ensure that we can be buddies. Please arrive at the shelter before 4pm on our open adoption days so we can meet!
-I feel more comfortable around new people when I have a doggie friend to build my confidence. Wayside recommends I go to a home that has a social and confident dog.
-For my safety, I need to go home on an anti-slip collar called a martingale collar. For your convenience, we sell them in our retail store, Whiskers and Wags.
