Collards is a three month old Black Lab mix with a heart as big as her puppy paws. She has been an absolute joy to foster, so sweet, gentle, and full of light.
This girl is loving, attentive, and incredibly smart. She’s picking up potty training but still needs consistency in potty schedule and close attention paid to her cues! We have been working on basic commands, and crate training which she is picking up amazingly fast. Collards is very food-motivated and beams with pride when she gets her praise for doing good.
Collards has been wonderful with other dogs. She visits a nearby community grass area regularly, and even off leash she stays close, plays politely, and comes running the moment she’s called. She truly listens and wants to please.
Around people, she’s equally delightful, great with kids and affectionate with all humans, and just a tiny bit shy with new strangers at first. But give her a moment and she warms up quickly.
Of course, she’s still a puppy, so she has that fun, playful spark and can get into things she shouldn’t at times. She adores digging through her toy basket, carrying her stuffies around, and turning ice cubes into toys.
