Meet Tinsel (#32250)! ✨🐾

Tinsel is a sweet, gentle girl who was found as a stray and has quickly shown what a wonderful companion she can be. She is very easy to handle and truly loves to please her handler, making her a joy to spend time with. Tinsel takes treats nicely and is already doing great with basic training, showing just how eager she is to learn.

When it comes to other dogs, Tinsel is politely curious. She enjoys giving gentle sniffs to say hello and often wonders who everyone is, showing friendly interest without being pushy. With people, Tinsel is all heart—she’s usually waiting for the next person to come by and give her some love.

Tinsel enjoys sitting close to you, soaking up head pats and rubs, and she meets new people with ease. She isn’t shy or fearful and has a very calm, docile demeanor. With her loving nature, trainability, and gentle curiosity, Tinsel would be a wonderful addition to just about any home looking for a sweet, affectionate companion. 💛🐶

Meet and greets with your family dog and shelter dog is encouraged. Dog and cat meet and greets are not allowed.

$80 for all kitten/cat adoptions. $90 for all puppy/dog adoptions. $35 for all rabbit adoptions.

Additional adoption info

The shelter is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with adoptions closing at 4:30pm. The shelter is closed on Sundays and all government observed holidays.

City of Henderson Animal Care and Control is the only open admission animal shelter in the City of Henderson. We service the City of Henderson and the residents and animals within city limits. Our goal is to find forever homes for all adoptable animals and reunite pets with their people. We work with multiple rescue groups and allow any good adoptee to adopt from our shelter.
