My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*** Powder is in our PetSmart Aero adoption center. ***

Powder #19997: white & black van/spotted, short hair, sp. female, born approx. 3/15/25

Cats: coexists; good solo kitty
Dogs: possibly
Children: past toddler

BACKGROUND: Powder was found as a kitten on the streets of Los Angeles and was taken in by a local rescuer who later reached out to ask if we could help Powder find a loving forever home.

PERSONALITY: Powder is a sweet and affectionate girl who loves to seek your attention and who makes the best snuggle partner when you’re chilling with a good book… she’ll lie down on your chest and enjoy the relaxation time with you. Powder has very large and striking yellow eyes that will immediately catch your eye and pair so well with her luxurious plushy fur (that can remind you of freshly fallen snow) that entices you to pet her… which she likes very much! She’ll need some adjustment time to a new environment and then Powder will show her friendly companionable nature.

COMPATIBILITY: Powder would likely be happiest as a solo kitty though has been able to live with other cats who are good-natured about her caprices: she can sometimes get annoyed by their presence for reasons known only to her and will give them a smack on the head before settling back into comfortable coexistence. While we haven’t seen her around dogs to know for sure, we think she could possibly be okay with a cat-friendly dog. Powder is great with the cat-savvy older kids in her foster home though would likely prefer an overall quieter home without overly rambunctious children.
