My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*** Fancy is in our PetSmart Aero adoption center. ***

Fancy #19998: gray/orange/white tabico, short hair, sp. female, born approx. 10/29/24

Cats: likes, best with just one
Dogs: unknown
Children: past toddler

BACKGROUND: Fancy was found on the streets of Los Angeles and was taken in by a local rescuer who later reached out to ask if we could help her find a loving forever home.

PERSONALITY: Fancy got her name because of her beautiful pastel striped calico coat. She is a very sweet and dainty kitty who happily accepts your love and petting attention when you go to her though she currently isn’t very proactive about seeking it out. It isn’t in Fancy’s nature to compete, so when other cats push forward she will fall back and let them take the focus. She thrives with one-on-one attention and playtime and will do best in a quieter home where her person makes the effort to forge a close connection with her… she’ll shine!

COMPATIBILITY: Fancy likes other cats though will fade into the background if there are too many clamoring for your attention; she won’t put herself forward to compete with them. For this reason, she would likely do best in a home with just one other cat so that she has a better chance for human focus. We don’t know her thoughts on dogs. Fancy is comfortable with the older cat-savvy kids in her foster home though can be distant if there is too much activity; she prefers a quieter environment.

Will Fancy strike YOUR fancy?
