Orwin is a sweet but shy girl who came to the shelter from a hoarding situation with over 60 cats. Though she may take some time to warm up, with love (and lots of treats), she loves to get attention and pets. She is very food-motivated, and will not hesitate to sneakily steal treats from under her fellow cats' noses (you snooze you lose!). Despite this, she gets along great with other cats, and would probably do best in a home with other feline friends. Adoptable Pets in Foster Homes:
Some of our available pets are currently in foster homes. If an animal is currently in a foster home, it is noted in the animal's biography online. To meet a pet in foster care, please fill out a non-binding adoption application, and the foster parent will contact you to schedule a meet and greet once the application has been approved (generally within 24 hours).

The next step is to fill out an adoption application. You can complete and application online (preferred) or stop by the adoption center to fill out a paper application. Adopters must be 18 years of age or older. If you rent your home, we will need to contact your landlord or see a copy of your lease to verify the pet policy. Most applications can be approved within 24-48 hours.
Taking Your New Pet Home
After paying the adoption fee and pending the approval of your application, you may take your new pet home immediately. Adoption fees may vary and can be found on our website at:
