Aeris is a sweet but skittish orange cat who came from a hoarding situation. She’s a gentle soul who gets along well with other cats and thrives in calm, patient environments.
Aeris absolutely loves treats. They’re a great way to win her heart! While it may take her some time to fully trust new people, once she does, she shows her affection in the sweetest way: by gently licking your hands.
If you’re looking for a loving companion with a unique and tender way of expressing her love, Aeris could be the perfect fit for your home.

Find the pet for you at the Adoption Center:
Angels of Assisi’s adoption center is open from 12-6pm, 7 days a week. Adoption Specialists and Volunteer Ambassadors are eager to help you find the pet that would fit best in your family.
Adoptable Pets in Foster Homes:
Some of our available pets are currently in foster homes. If an animal is currently in a foster home, it is noted in the animal's biography online. To meet a pet in foster care, please fill out a non-binding adoption application, and the foster parent will contact you to schedule a meet and greet once the application has been approved (generally within 24 hours).
Found the perfect addition to your family? Now what?
The next step is to fill out an adoption application. You can complete and application online (preferred) or stop by the adoption center to fill out a paper application. Adopters must be 18 years of age or older. If you rent your home, we will need to contact your landlord or see a copy of your lease to verify the pet policy. Most applications can be approved within 24-48 hours.
Taking Your New Pet Home
After paying the adoption fee and pending the approval of your application, you may take your new pet home immediately. Adoption fees may vary and can be found on our website at:
