Adair is a shy orange cat who came from a hoarding situation and is still learning to trust people. She tends to keep her distance and would do best in a calm, quiet home where she can feel safe at her own pace.
Adair also requires a special urinary diet to help prevent urinary crystals and maintain her health. With patience, gentle care, and the right medical support, Adair has the potential to thrive and find comfort in a peaceful environment.
If you’re looking for a quiet companion who needs time and understanding, Adair could be the perfect match for you.

Find the pet for you at the Adoption Center:
Angels of Assisi’s adoption center is open from 12-6pm, 7 days a week. Adoption Specialists and Volunteer Ambassadors are eager to help you find the pet that would fit best in your family.
Adoptable Pets in Foster Homes:
Some of our available pets are currently in foster homes. If an animal is currently in a foster home, it is noted in the animal's biography online. To meet a pet in foster care, please fill out a non-binding adoption application, and the foster parent will contact you to schedule a meet and greet once the application has been approved (generally within 24 hours).
Found the perfect addition to your family? Now what?
The next step is to fill out an adoption application. You can complete and application online (preferred) or stop by the adoption center to fill out a paper application. Adopters must be 18 years of age or older. If you rent your home, we will need to contact your landlord or see a copy of your lease to verify the pet policy. Most applications can be approved within 24-48 hours.
Taking Your New Pet Home
After paying the adoption fee and pending the approval of your application, you may take your new pet home immediately. Adoption fees may vary and can be found on our website at:
