Foster Care Plan: Elvis is looking for a cozy foster home to relax in while we monitor his lab results. We would like to check in on his labs in about 1 week. He has also just recieved treatment for roundworms, and he will repeat this in 2 weeks. He will have a medical consult upon pickup and the Operation Kindness Foster Team will supply all items necessary for a successful foster journey.
FeLV+ (Feline Leukemia Virus) is a condition that can affect a cat`s lifespan, but many cats with this virus can still live happy and healthy lives for a long time. While FeLV+ is not easily transmitted to humans, it can be spread among cats through saliva, urine, feces, and blood. For this reason, we recommend that FeLV+ cats be the only cat in a household or live with other FeLV+ cats.
Foster to Adopt Program: Elvis is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption.
