- Total goofball who loves toys and being silly; always down for a game of tug-of-war

- Enjoys playtime even more than pets and snuggles!

- Likes carrying a toy around in his mouth even when you're not playing with him

- Smart boy who knows sit, shake, stay and come and loves to learn; may be more motivated by toys than treats

- Does well in the bath

- Loves going on walks and does best with a harness

- Tends to be a linebacker-type player with other dogs, which some dogs may not appreciate; will likely do best with a select group of rough-and-tumble dog friends with a similar play style (dog intro required)

- Young, noisy or busy children can be too much for them (mature home recommended)

All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)

The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
