My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Monty is a 6-year-old boxer/pit mix who came into my life as a temporary foster when he was about 9 months old. Through paperwork, I later learned he had already been through multiple shelters and homes before coming to me.

Monty is deeply bonded to his people and very loyal. He is affectionate, attentive, and happiest when he’s close to his person — whether that’s relaxing on the couch, going for walks, or just being nearby. He thrives in calm, predictable environments with clear routines and structure.

While Monty has successfully lived with another dog long-term, he is reactive with unfamiliar dogs. He does best in a home without frequent dog introductions or unpredictable dog interactions.

I am seeking a stable, experienced home that understands dog reactivity and values consistency and boundaries. Ideally, Monty would be the only dog. This decision has been made carefully, and Monty will only be placed in a safe, loving, and permanent home that truly fits his needs.
