Meet Vanilla Bean! 🤍🐾
This 1-year-old, 19-pound terrier mix is as gentle and sweet as her name suggests. Vanilla Bean may be a little shy at first, but with patience, kindness, and a calm environment, she’ll slowly open up and show you the soft, loving heart she’s been hiding.
Coming from a home with several other dogs, Vanilla Bean feels her best with a canine companion nearby. She would love a home with another friendly pup who can help boost her confidence and show her the ropes. With a doggy friend by her side, she becomes braver, happier, and more playful.
Once she trusts you, Vanilla Bean blossoms into the sweetest little companion—affectionate, tender, and full of quiet charm. She’s good with older kids and wonderful with other dogs, making her a lovely match for a patient, gentle family.
If you’re looking for a precious sweetheart who just needs someone to believe in her, Vanilla Bean is ready to melt right into your life. With time, love, and a furry friend, she’ll shine brighter every single day. 💛🐶
She can be fearful of loud noises and commotion so will do better in a quiet home with time to blossom. She would do better in a home with someone who is home a lot of the time. She sleeps next to her foster in bed at night. She knows the doggy door but is a flight risk so needs a very secure yard and NOT to be walked to exposed to too much too soon such as being in public places until she is more comfortable. She will need to learn to walk on a leash in a controlled environment like a back yard.
Adoption fee is: $400
ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.
Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.
Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.

More about this rescue
CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community. We believe that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for them. We are partnered with many Shelters to help them reach the same goal.
