My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Zoe!
This beautiful mama is officially retired from motherhood—Victoria was her last little one, and now it’s her turn to be spoiled. Zoe is sweet, gentle, and has a goofy side too… as you can probably tell from her photos! She’s not much for posing, so most of her pictures feature her clowning around upside down.
She’s already spayed, current on vaccines, and her adoption fee is sponsored and reduced to just $20.
If you’d like to meet Zoe—or even adopt this adorable mother–daughter duo together—please call 256-362-5856 to schedule an appointment!

More about this shelter

We are the Animal Control Facility for the City of Talladega. We provide animal control services for the City of Talladega. We work with lots of rescues all over the US and Canada. We do some local adoptions but don't have many people come in locally looking to adopt. A lot of our pets are transferred to our rescue partners. We do accept donations of cleaning supplies, dry cat/kitten, dry dog/puppy food, cat litter, and chew toys. We are also always looking for short term foster homes for our pets going to rescues. Usually it's only for a 2-4 week period before the pet leaves for his/her rescue. If you are interested feel free to contact us at 256-362-5856
