My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Afonso...I was found dumped outside at a few months old, with my brother Durante...We were cold, hungry & trying to survive the colder weather with stomach issues...Since I was smaller, at only 1.8 pounds, my brother Durante helped me be brave...I love to cuddle on the couch & if you pet me, I will lick your hand & purr really loud...I would also love to share your bed if you let me. I weigh 3.6 pounds & I am starting to show my true kitten personality...Plus, don't tell him I told you, but I can win at wrestling with my brother now...My foster mom says I am one of the sweetest she has ever rescued...I promise I will be the best boy & shower you with love, if you take me home. I am neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for felv/fiv. My adoption fee is $200.00.

More about this rescue

Cool Cats Rescue is often focused on helping animals that are often overlooked. This includes community & TNR cats/kittens, e-listed dogs from our county shelters, cleft palate, puppies, aggressive and other "less desirable" pets that may need extra TLC, time, patience, and understanding before finding their forever homes. We are committed to building a supportive community of fosters, trainers, veterinarians,, and resources for the animals that we believe are in the most need--we even partner with other local rescues, a veteran's assistance program, a homeless assistance program, and a working cat program (mousers) to form creative solutions for our rescued cats.
