My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Min Min, an 11-year-old Shih Tzu mix whose presence feels like a lantern of calm warmth drifting through the house. She’s 14 pounds of gentle cheer, always ready to curl into a lap or trot behind her favorite humans like a tiny, fuzzy moon orbiting its chosen planet.

She’s fully house trained and sleeps loose in the home, usually selecting the coziest spot available, which is often her foster’s bed. Her foster doesn’t use a crate, so Min Min simply enjoys the freedom to snooze and explore at her leisure.

Min Min loves a little yard time, playful moments with her toys, and a good car ride. She walks nicely on leash, adores sitting in laps, and settled into her foster home within minutes. She gets along wonderfully with big dogs, small dogs, men, women, and strangers. She hasn’t met kids or cats yet, but her foster says she seems to love everyone.

She does have a grade 4/6 heart murmur, though she currently has no symptoms and continues to enjoy life with her signature bright spirit.

Min Min is friendly, outgoing, confident, adaptable, happy, playful, loyal, and deeply connected to her people. She’d thrive in just about any home that offers love, comfort, and a spot to rest her little head.

If you’re searching for a sweet, easy companion with a heart full of gentle glow, Min Min is ready to light up your world. Her minimum adoption fee is $200 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
