My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kandie!

Kandie is a beautiful Alaskan Malamute who recently found herself in our care through no fault of her own. She’s an active, affectionate girl with that classic Malamute confidence and independence.

Kandie loves people and truly thrives on attention - if you’re looking for a dog who enjoys being part of the action and soaking up affection, she’s your girl. She is looking for a family committed to continuing her basic training and giving her the structure and enrichment she needs to shine.

She’s open to living with other dogs and kids, making her a wonderful candidate for an active home ready to embrace all the love (and fluff!) a Malamute brings.

If you`re interested in meeting Kandie, she is located at the Pennsylvania SPCA Danville Center on Bloom Rd. We are open daily from 12:00-6:00pm and no appointment is needed. Please bring everyone who lives in your home and any current dogs with proof of up to date vaccinations. If you have any questions about her, feel free to call the shelter at 570-275-0340 or email danville@pspca.org.
