My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ready for a Christmas miracle? Well, Nicholas is just that. This handsome young adult Great Pyrenees’ future is shining brightly thanks to a compassionate partnership. We are deeply grateful to Atascosa Animal Allies, who entrusted us with this gentle soul from their overflowing “code red” shelter, allowing us to come together and give him a chance at life and love.

Upon arriving in our program, Nicholas’s first order of business was to take a long, well-deserved nap— he’s clearly ready to relax and settle into a forever home. True to his breed, he is calm, majestic, and ready to be a devoted guardian.

He deserves a warm, safe home where he can continue his great naps and share his gentle spirit with a loving family. See how great this Ole Saint Nick really is… Take the next step to adopt Nicholas!

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
