Kato is a 3-year-old, 45-pound Alaskan Malamute mix with a bright mind and a warm heart. This handsome boy already knows sit, lay down, and paw, and he brings that same eagerness into everything he does. True to his breed, he’s in his element during the colder months and loves nothing more than frolicking through fresh snow.

Kato is housetrained, enjoys the company of kids, and would thrive with a younger, active canine companion to match his energy. He’d also be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention as your one and only. He’s ready for an adopter who appreciates his smarts, his playful spirit, and his winter-loving ways.

His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
