Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Ron - a sensitive, affectionate guy with the tiniest meow and the biggest heart.
Ron’s world was turned upside down when his owner passed away. After escaping his home, he spent two frightening weeks on his own before being safely trapped - though not without sustaining injuries from a scuffle along the way. When Ron first arrived at the shelter, he was understandably scared and defensive, growling and hissing as he tried to cope.
With time, care, and a little space to decompress, Ron transformed. After being neutered and given the chance to relax, his true personality emerged. Now he loves being petted and will happily shove his head into your hand for more! He may take a little time to warm up to new people, but once you earn his trust, you’re in for life.
Ron’s history with other cats, dogs, or children is unknown. He is a sensitive soul and the noise and activity of the shelter - especially barking dogs - can be stressful for him. Because of his past and his gentle nature, Ron needs to be an indoor-only cat. He would likely do best in a calm, quiet home with older, respectful children.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion who just needs a little patience and understanding, Ron might be your perfect match.
