Chase is an energetic and playful pup. He was found out on his own by the Filmore County sheriff. The vet believes he is around 9 months
old.
He needs a home with someone who knows his breed and how to work with a dog who has prey drive. He would benefit with some puppy classes as well to learn some manners and get more mental stimulation.
He needs physical and mental stimulation or he will just chew on things out of boredom.
He thinks everything is a chew toy. Must puppy proof your home. :)
He knows how to sit and seems familiar with potty pads, doing well potty training.
He loves chew toys, squeaky toys, loves to eat, will chase rabbits and squirrels. He would love a safe fenced area to play in, due to his prey drive.
We have gone on walks in the nicer weather and he does pretty well, but walks fast and will pull if he sees a squirrel or rabbit. Afraid of large and noisy trucks/cars. May have had a bad experience when he was out on his own running around.
He enjoys other dogs but still working on his manners. He is also doing well sleeping in a kennel at night.

More about this rescue
Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.
Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.
Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
