My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet QiQi! This sweet 3-year-old, 85-pound German Shepherd was rescued from a euthanasia list in California by A Dog Named Blackjack Animal Rescue. I’m currently fostering him, and he’s now ready to find his forever home.

QiQi does well with both people and other dogs when introduced slowly. Like most German Shepherds, he thrives on companionship and loves being near his person. If left alone briefly, he’ll greet you with lots of excitement when you return!

He knows a few basic commands like “sit,” “paw,” and “lay,” and is highly motivated by his favorite chicken treats. Playing fetch is still a work in progress—he’ll chase the ball without hesitation, but we’re still working on getting him to bring it back.

QiQi also loves water play—his kiddie pool is a favorite spot during bath time, and he has a blast splashing around. After being abandoned by his previous family, he’s learning to trust again and is blossoming into a loving, loyal companion.

If you’re interested in giving QiQi the home he deserves, please reach out to set up a meet and greet!
