Bentley is a sweet, energetic young dog who would thrive with an owner or family ready to give her love, structure, and activity. She does best in a home where she can get daily exercise, whether that’s walks, runs, hikes, or playtime, since she’s still very much a puppy at heart and loves to stay active.
She would do great with someone who enjoys spending time with their dog and can provide mental stimulation like toys, basic training, or games. Bentley is very intelligent and eager to please, so she responds well to guidance and positive reinforcement. She does pull a bit on the leash, but she’s much more comfortable and well-behaved with a harness.
Bentley is very affectionate and loves attention. She’s a total cuddle bug who enjoys pets, snuggling at night, and being close to her people. She does not have food aggression and is gentle when being handled. She can be a little alert around unfamiliar men at first, but she has never shown aggression and warms up with reassurance.
She is spayed and up to date on all vaccinations, with no known medical issues. A consistent, quality diet works best for her tummy. Bentley would thrive in a home with more space to move around and someone who can give her the attention and enrichment she deserves.
If you're interested in meeting Bentley, come to our adoption event on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 11am-2pm, located at 6300 San Mateo NE in the south Sprouts parking lot.
Alternatively, we can arrange a Private Meet-and-Greet with the foster parent and your household with a completed application. Complete an easy, no-obligation online application and take the first step towards welcoming Bentley into your home by clicking on this link https://form.jotform.com/222028369049155
