My name is MARTIN*!

Meet Martin – the handsome devil of a black long haired cat! Martin is a social, adventurous guy who would thrive in a cat savvy home. His favorite toys are cloth mice. He also likes to play fetch. Martin does become overstimulated and tactile in play. Staff have been encouraging play with wand style toys to help Martin get his energy out without making contact with people. Martin is very affectionate and wants to engage. An adopter who can provide mental and physical stimulation, potentially with access to a catio! Martin does not have any history living with other animals and due to his overstimulation, we are recommending a home without young children.

Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
