Beau is a wonderful, wiggly, energetic and loving pup! He is in foster care with two small dogs (15-20 lbs) who he has done great with and has interacted well with children around the neighborhood. He is still learning to walk on a leash but is improving every day. He loves running around the yard, sniffing/rolling in the grass and learning new things. He has been cat tested and is indifferent.
As with all puppies, Beau will need someone dedicated and patient with the time to provide him with ample mental and physical exercise. He is working with his foster on house training and is doing great. He may have an accident or two but don't hold it against him, he is still learning the ropes!
He is a true sweetheart, and will be a loyal companion for years to come. Our best guess is he will be 40-50+ lbs. upon maturity but no promises. Please plan to be home every few hours during this important development stage to set him up for success.
If you are interested in meeting your new sidekick, please reach out and a volunteer will contact you. (BC)

The first step in our adoption process is completing an adoption questionnaire here: https://www.rocketdogrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/
From there, you will be contacted by a volunteer to talk more about what you're looking for and if the dog you're interested in might be a good fit.
