Damien is a shy but sweet older cat who takes time to feel comfortable with new people. Once he warms up, his gentle and affectionate personality becomes clear. He would thrive in a calm, quiet home where he can move at his own pace and enjoy plenty of love. Damien's patience and sweet nature make him a wonderful companion for someone willing to give him the time he needs.

Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.
