My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kiara! This gorgeous gal just arrived to our shelter and we are over the moon excited to help her find her forever home. Kiara LOVES other dogs and would do well in a home with another friendly dog or two. She also seems to love people so we think a home with kids and possibly cats would also be fine. This girl hopes to find an active home where she can go on fun hikes and explore the mountains. She is learning how to walk on a leash and we think she is going to be a smart cookie for someone who is willing to take the time to work with Kiara on her basic commands.
Kiara is already spayed, microchipped, dewormed, HW tested and up to date on her vaccines! Don`t miss out on your chance to meet this sweet girl, we know you will fall in love, just like we did!

More about this shelter

Eagle County Animal Shelter and Services handles all of the animal control and animal shelter services for Eagle County. We are a small shelter and are considered socially conscious, which means we are "no-kill" for space. We are always looking for volunteers, foster homes, and item donations. If you are interested in donating to the shelter we have a wish list available that includes lots of items that we use everyday here at our shelter to benefit the dogs and cats directly. Please call us at 970-328-DOGS if you are interested in volunteering. We love to have people come in to socialize our cats and walk and socialize the dogs. Come see us!!
