Introducing Castle! He was brought to the shelter on 11/29 because he was on a journey to find his way home and got lost. Sadly, no one has come to reclaim him so he is on a quick search for a forever home that will keep him safe and secure so he doesn't have to experience a loud, overcrowded shelter ever again. Castle is only 8 years and 1 week old and weighs a mere 53lbs. The volunteers describe him as just a cutie pie and just as sweet, handsome, and obedient, walks well on a leash and a gentle soul He is also a smart young man as he knows to sit when asked while he takes treats so gently. This golden boy has a beautiful smile and hoping your heart will melt from the smile alone. Seniors do not deserve to be in the shelter for the rest of his life. Castle deserves to have a loving forever home with a nice, warm bed, lots of treats, and an endless supply of unconditional love. Will you give him that chance? Please take some time and visit with him in Run 52; his ID is 15384. He is waiting for you! Please help him find his way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family. Cobb County Animal Services was established in 1971. As part of Cobb's Department of Public Safety, we serve the entire county, protecting the residents and animals of Cobb.
The mission of the Cobb County Animal Services Unit is to enforce state laws and county ordinances pertaining to animal control and management; educate the community on responsible pet ownership and wildlife care and provide housing and care for homeless animals, while coordinating their adoptions when possible and humane euthanization when adoptions are not possible.
