My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dara — The Sweetest Soul You’ll Ever Know

If you’re looking for a loyal best friend with a heart full of love, Dara is your girl. This gentle, affectionate pup has so much warmth to give, and she’s ready to share it with a family who will adore her as much as she adores them.

Her Story

Dara was originally rescued from the streets of Baja, but you would never guess she had a tough start. The moment she arrived, she slipped right into our family as if she had always belonged. With her tender spirit, bright eyes, and endless enthusiasm for love, Dara quickly won our hearts.

Her Personality

Dara is pure sweetness. She absolutely loves people — her happiest moments are spent snuggling beside you, giving gentle kisses, or curling up at your feet. She’s playful too! Dara enjoys walks, running outdoors, playing fetch, and she gets the cutest little zoomies when she’s excited. She’s the perfect mix of cuddle buddy and adventure partner.

She has no aggression issues and genuinely wants to please. Dara bonds deeply and thrives on companionship, which is why she would do best in a home where she can be the center of attention — she loves her humans that much.

Why We’re Rehoming Her

This is a heartbreaking decision for us, because Dara truly is a wonderful dog. Unfortunately, our other dog has begun competing with her for attention, and the tension is increasing. Dara has become fearful, and we don’t want her living in an environment where she doesn’t feel safe.

She deserves a home where she can relax, feel secure, and be cherished the way she deserves.

Her Ideal Home

Dara would flourish in a loving, calm home as the only dog, where she can soak up all the affection she’s eager to give. She will return that love tenfold. Whoever adopts her will gain a devoted companion, a snuggle partner, and a new best friend.

More about this rescue

Amazing Strays Rescue knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by but most importantly, through the actions of our initiatives. Back in 2018, realized that by working with Shelters we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch Amazing Strays Rescue.
