Did someone say puppies? Through a partnership with Geauga Moms and Pups, we were able to pull this precious baby into our rescue, and now she’s ready to find the loving forever family she deserves. Meet Holly, an adorable 9 week-old lab mix who currently weighs about 11 pounds. Holly is the true embodiment of puppyhood, with an attention span that lasts only a few seconds and a heart big enough to make anyone fall in love. She plays hard, sleeps hard, and greets every moment with an easygoing, gentle spirit. Holly is very energetic and smart.
Holly gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is great with children of all ages. She hasn’t been exposed to cats yet, so their relationship is still a mystery. Like any young pup, Holly will need guidance as she grows, including help with basic obedience, leash skills, and housetraining, though she is already comfortable using a pee pad in the home. She is currently available through our foster-to-adopt program, which allows you to welcome her into your home while she completes her vetting, including spay, vaccines, and microchip. Potential adopters are interviewed initially by phone or email and then again during the meet and greet. All family members should attend.

If you have submitted an application online we will contact you within 72 hours with any information you need to know for adoption.

Interview and interaction - find the right fit for the family and new pet and a meet if this will be a second dog in the home.

At Parma Animal Shelter, we do not adopt our animals out as gifts or surprises. We believe that adopting a pet is a significant commitment and should be a well-considered decision. Therefore, we reserve the right to refuse any adoption to ensure the best match for both the animal and the adopter.
All of our animals are microchipped, tested for disease, vaccinated, spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and internal parasites, and given lots of loving care during their stay with us. We are dedicated to meeting their medical needs and do our best to socialize them.

We are open daily from 5:00 to 7:00 pm and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00-12 noon.
