My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Esmerelda,

A beautiful smaller Komodor mix with soulful eyes and a wild heart. Like her sisters, Esmerelda came from a home with several dogs, where she never received the individual attention or guidance a young dog needs. Before her rescue, she had no experience with basics like wearing a leash, exploring new places, or building trust with humans.

Now safe and cared for, Esmerelda is slowly discovering the world—and herself. She may be unsure at first, but her progress has been wonderful to watch. With each day, she shows more curiosity, more bravery, and more willingness to connect. Esmerelda is the kind of dog who will flourish with patience, kindness, and steady support.

She’s searching for a committed home that understands she’s still learning what it means to be a companion. Positive training, structure, and reassuring routines will help her build confidence. In return, Esmerelda will offer quiet devotion, soft affection, and the joy of seeing a once-overwhelmed dog blossom into her true self.

If you’re ready to guide a deserving dog on her journey from uncertainty to trust, Esmerelda may be the perfect match for your heart and home.
