Meet Penni

Penni is a sweet 5-month-old grey and white kitten with the softest fur and the gentlest soul. Saved from life on the streets, Penni is a calm little lady who truly appreciates the finer things in life—like mealtime (she loves her food!), playful moments, and lots of loving pets.

Penni may be a bit shy when you first go to pick her up, but she’s making wonderful progress every day and shows just how trusting she’s becoming. Once she knows you, she happily soaks up affection and leans into your hands for more.

Bonus points? Penni is a total superstar during nail trims—no drama here!

We will talk to you and your references to get a feel of what you're looking for in a pet and if the particular pet would be a good fit

This is required. We want to see where the pet will be living and it gives us an opportunity to meet you!

A meet and greet will be arranged after you have been approved as an applicant

More about this rescue

Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3), foster based, non-profit animal rescue located in the Pgh area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, abused and/or unwanted dogs and cats.

We are run solely by volunteers with the goal of providing vet care, socialization skills and nutritional needs while living in a loving foster home. All animals that enter into the rescue will receive appropriate vet care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative treatments.

Our goal is to assure a loving, forever home for each one of our animals. Paws Across Pittsburgh strongly believes in Force Free training methods for our animals.
