Are you in the market for a big doofy goofball? Look no further. Yukon is your guy.
Yukon is a four year old lab mix and he's a big dude weighing about 70lbs. He likes to act super aloof and serious at first but he's no match for some good old fashioned lovin'. Once you start scratching him all over and rubbing behind his ears, he melts into a puddle of goo and will be your best friend from that moment forward, no takesies backsies.
Yukon is a big baby that doesn't understand a lot of things. Wind is scary. Treats are confusing (hi hello what is he supposed to do with these???) Cats are weird. He had two cats cussing him out and he kind of just stood there like "friend???" so dog-friendly cats only, please. He seems to do fine with other dogs and is pretty indifferent to their comings and goings and is much more interested in, like, anything else. We would prefer older kids (10+) just because we don't know if he's ever been around smaller kids or even knows what they are.
He's actually remarkably good on a leash for a young lab of his size and he's very, very smart with a whole laundry list of cues under his belt. He's food-motivated and food is the quickest way to his heart. He's a big ol' ham when it comes to getting attention and will melt right onto the floor so just keep doing what you're doing, please and thank you.
