My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***LOCAL ADOPTER NEEDED (within 50 miles of Apex, NC)! This dog still needs to be spayed at our partner vet in Apex!***

Hi! My name is Noelle and I am told I am indeed a beautiful lab mix girl. I weigh ~40lb, so I am a petite girl, and I am food motivated so I will enjoy all the treats and good food that you can give me! I especially like cheese! I still very much have my puppy bursts of energy and playfulness, but I also love to chill and curl up on the couch and take a good nap. If I have you to curl up next to, that is even better! I am also quite the sweetie, if I do say so myself.

I came to PLR with five beautiful babies, who will be up for adoption soon, so I am ready to leave the mom life behind and start enjoying all that life has to offer. I am still learning how to just be a dog, so I would love to have a family that will be patient with me and teach me about all the good things that are out there to discover.

I do love all people…my foster parents have taken me on trips to breweries and holiday festivals (yes! I do ride well in the car), and I am happy to meet anyone with a friendly tail wag. I have met children. I get along well with other dogs, and it would be best if I have another dog friend because I love playing with my foster sister. I have met cats and I am curious but also know to leave them alone. I am not protective of food or toys.

I love to go for walks, and I walk well on a leash. I am sometimes a bit hesitant; there is a lot to see and sniff out there! I would really like it if someone would continue to work with me on being a good leash walker. I would also love someone to work with me on basic obedience in general. I am a smart girl, so you will find that I catch on quickly!

If you are looking for a friend who will stick by your side through thick and thin, I’m your girl. I am ready to fill your life with love, loyalty and lots of cuddles. Adopt me, and let’s start our forever friendship.
