What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Hello, my name is Mia! I’m a 2 year old 57-lb bundle of love. Playful, cuddly, and full of energy. Mia adores attention, follows you everywhere, loves tug-of-war, chewing her bones, and happily tries to make friends with people, dogs, and even cats. She’s incredibly affectionate and thrives on human interaction.
Mia came from unstable prior homes (previously crated for long periods and before that chained outside). When we moved into this new home, her owner planned to surrender her to a shelter if we couldn't take her, so we stepped in. She is now cage-free, but because we all work 12-hour shifts, she spends too much time alone, and I’m seeking a permanent, loving home for her.
Mia needs continued training: leash manners (she gets overly excited), and help with jumping when greeting people. She isn’t aggressive, just enthusiastic! Chewing is managed with bones. She was not spayed and had no vaccine records, so I enrolled her in a vet puppy plan that covers vaccinations and basic care.
