My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pippa & Poppy – 2-Year-Old Treeing Walker Coonhound Sisters

Pippa and Poppy are two-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound sisters whose love for each other has carried them through uncertain times. They are sweet, sensitive souls who want to trust, but fear still lingers. Hands reaching over their heads are often met with cowering—not from aggression, but from a past that taught them to be afraid.

These girls need patient, gentle humans who understand that healing takes time. Soft voices, slow movements, and kindness without expectation will help them learn that touch can be safe again. When they feel secure, their loving nature quietly emerges—tender glances, careful tail wags, and a deep devotion that grows stronger every day.

Pippa and Poppy are searching for a calm, compassionate home where they can continue their journey together, rediscover trust, and finally learn what it means to be truly loved.
