My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet TANNER

Playful • Affectionate • Quick Learner

This darling boy is the curious and playful mischief-maker of the litter! Tanner loves to investigate anything new—he’s always sniffing around and sticking his head where it doesn’t belong. He’s silly, sweet, and full of personality. He’s playful and bouncy, loves toys, and adores being near his people. Tanner is a typical puppy—curious, energetic, and eager to soak up the world around him. While he may be a little shy at first, he warms up quickly and becomes your loyal little shadow.

Tanner uses the doggie door, walks great on leash, and loves car rides. He’d be a great adventure buddy or a cuddly sidekick, depending on your vibe. If you're looking for a smart and spunky pup to keep life interesting, Tanner might be the one.

Tanner would do best in a home with another friendly dog to play with or a family ready to shower him with attention, patience, and love. With a consistent routine and lots of affection, Tanner will grow into the most wonderful lifelong companion.

If you're interested in meeting Tanner, please visit www.aarflove.org to review our adoption process and submit an application.

Rescue dogs thrive with patience, structure, and lots of love—and in return, they give you a lifetime of quiet loyalty and gratitude.

Please note: We receive many wonderful applications and may not be able to respond to everyone. If we feel you might be a match, we’ll reach out directly. Thank you for supporting rescue!

3.

Meet the Pet

If you are matched to one of our pets, we will have you meet at a mutually agreed upon location. We want to be sure there is a connection.

4.

Home Check

If distance is an issue, a virtual tour or video of your home can be arranged. We are not looking for a perfect home, just a safe home

Additional adoption info

We have potential adopters complete our adoption application. We will then arrange a meet and greet at a mutually agreed upon place; for cats, it is our adoption playroom. If it is a good match we do a home check to make sure all other pets and persons in the home all get along and we check the security of the home.

More about this rescue

All Animal Rescue & Friends (AARF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit all-volunteer rescue organization focused on physically rescuing and reuniting lost/found animals within our community. We provide medical assistance and care to the injured, abused/neglected, abandoned, and under-age animals. We also rescue at-risk animals from local shelters.

For the animals that come into our Rescue, they are placed in safe, nurturing foster homes to prepare them for adoption. We are dedicated to match each and every animal with the very best forever home.

We are committed to providing education and support for local TNR efforts/colony caretakers, the promotion of local spay/neuter programs, the importance of microchips for reuniting lost pets, and general wellness and care for pets within our community.
