Onyx was bottle-raised, so she grew up getting tons of love and attention, and it really shows. Every time you pick her up she gives a tiny meow, then melts into your hands and starts purring instantly. She’s soft, gentle, and incredibly affectionate.
She’s been raised around two other kittens and two adult cats, both female and male, so she understands cat manners and gets along great with everyone. She plays nicely, respects boundaries, and loves having other animals around her.
Her absolute favorite thing in the world, though, is being with dogs. She truly thinks they’re her family. She curls up against them to sleep, tucks herself under their chin, and if the dog is patient she’ll even try to wiggle right into their mouth. She’s small, sweet, and totally devoted to any dog who lets her be close.
At bedtime she’ll always choose the dog first, but she’s perfectly happy to lie right next to you too. Not on top of you, just close enough to feel safe.
Onyx is playful in a shy, gentle way. She loves batting toys around and exploring quietly without being rough or chaotic. Just soft, silly kitten energy.

If you are interested in a cat or kitten from our rescue, the first step in the adoption process is to fill out an adoption application. Once the completed application is submitted, it will be reviewed and you will be contacted by our organization to discuss your adoption application and the kitty of interest.
Our rescue adopts our cats or kittens locally in Roswell, Georgia, or the surrounding areas. Weekend adoption events are held every Saturday from 1 pm - 5 pm in the cat adoption room inside PetSmart located at 625 W Crossville Road, Roswell, GA 30075. Additional adoption times can be made by appointment only. We ask that you complete an adoption application prior to scheduling an appointment with our organization.
At the time of adoption, our cats and kittens are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations (FVRCP, FeLV, and Rabies), spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas, and combo tested for FIV/FeLV/HW. Our adoption fees are $210 for one kitty and $375 for a pair of kitties. These adoption fees are subject to change. Processing fees will apply for payments made by credit card or PayPal.
