We adopted Sasha in June. The process was rushed and we made a quick decision. Sasha is a great mix of fun, spunky and chill couch potato. She adores our senior golden retriever and is more afraid of our cats than they are of her. Sasha and my 10yo (f) are best buddies.
Why we need to rehome-
The neighbor's goofy friendly dog jumped on my oldest and Sasha attacked- no bites but teeth barred, growling, charging etc. Now, everytime she sees that dog she goes into attack mode. She has also snapped at our 6yo and his friend numerous times. Again, no actual bites but scary, and not their fault.
She is very protective by breed. She alerts and barks to anyone coming in, must be crated at night or she'll alert you to every single sound at night.
She's come a LONG way in a few months. I don't think she knew life inside before we got her. She loves toys, is very smart with the hidden treat toys, a strong chewer, and never gets aggressive with sibling dog over toys.
