Here's what the humans have to say about me:
🌿 Meet Basil — A Sweet Senior Searching for a Soft Place to Land 🌿
Basil is a lovely older lady with a heart full of warmth and a gentle spirit that makes everyone who meets her smile. This sweet senior girl is calm, affectionate, and happiest when she’s curled up beside someone who appreciates quiet companionship.
Basil enjoys the simple things in life: a cozy blanket, a slow head rub, and a sunny spot to nap the afternoon away. She has a soft, serene presence and is the kind of cat who makes a house feel like a home.
She’s looking for a peaceful, loving home where she can spend her golden years surrounded by kindness. Basil would be a wonderful match for someone who wants a mellow, loving friend and a loyal little shadow.
If you’re ready to offer a sweet, gentle soul the comfort she deserves, Basil will give you all the love in return. Come meet this precious girl—your heart may just find its missing piece.

We ask potential adopters to fill out a matchmaker form. When they are ready to adopt an animal and the form and interview process indicates a good match, we have the adopter sign an adoption contract promising that the animal will receive good physical and emotional care. Fees vary and we often have adoption specials. Fees for senior pets are sponsored. Otherwise, dogs are $100, puppies $150 and up, cats are $75, kittens are $95.
