My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Azul!

Azul is a 3-month-old kitten with a one-of-a-kind look and the softest soul. She came to us with her siblings—Midnight, Keurig, Beanie, Spidey, and Skiddy—and she’s the only one of the bunch who isn’t all black. With her gorgeous Russian Blue–like coloring, Azul truly stands out in the best way.

Azul is very sweet and social with people, though she may take just a little extra time to warm up. Once she does, the bond she forms is deep and lasting—she’s the kind of kitten who chooses her person and loves them with her whole heart.

Like her siblings, Azul would be a wonderful fit for a variety of homes, whether that’s a family, a couple, or an individual looking for a loving companion. With patience, affection, and time, Azul will blossom into an incredibly devoted and gentle best friend.

FMAR felines are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated for age-appropriate shots, and negative for FIV/FeLV.

More about this shelter

We are a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter comprised mostly of volunteers. We take in cats and dogs from local shelters and the public who can no longer care for their pets. Each of the volunteers at FMAR has a tremendous amount of love for animals and simply wants to do what they can to ensure that as many animals as possible find a forever home. Until then, each animal has a home at FMAR indefinitely.
