My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the Addams Family!

Here’s Uncle Fester, a cute but derpy boy looking for his forever people! This cat family came to us from a kind human who took in a few stray cats that ended up with a few unplanned litters! She reached out when her cat family became too big and she needed help, that’s where we came in!

Uncle Fester is a handsome white and gray/brown tabby who definitely enjoys the finer things. Fester lovessss to take long naps on any soft spot in the house. He really enjoys bird watching and loves to play with his toys! He has an active side to him but can wind down and have a chill night like the rest of us! Fester enjoys getting brushed, getting pets, and you guessed it, cat nip and wet food! Fester is used to having other cats around, so we think he’ll do well in a home with other calm, friendly kitties, like his buddy, Thing! He once lived with dogs, so we think with proper intros he would do fine sharing a home with them. Fester is sweet and gentle, so we believe he would do well with children of all ages.

Uncle Fester will sometimes get weepy eyes and that has been a norm for him through his life.

Uncle Fester is approximately 3.5 years old, neutered, had a dental in our care, microchipped, FIV/FELV negative, dewormed, flea treated, and vaccinated for Rabies, FVRCP, and FELV. Apply for this handsome goof ball today!

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Typically we talk a little with potential adopters to find a cat who is a good fit before sharing the application.

2.

Approve Application

We check over the application including checking vet references and doing landlord checks.

3.

Interview

We spend more time chatting with the adopters to specifically go over any questions from the application and details about the specific cat.

4.

Meet the Pet

Potential adopters have a meet and greet with the cat or kitten in the foster home.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

At the meet and greet, if all goes well, the adoption contract can be signed, the fee can be paid, and the pet can go home!

6.

Pay Fee

7.

Additional adoption info

We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

More about this rescue

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.

Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
