My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the Addams Family!

Here’s Morticia, a beautiful lady with warm personality! This cat family came to us from a kind human who took in a few stray cats that ended up with a few unplanned litters! She reached out when her cat family became too big and she needed help, that’s where we came in!

Morticia is a beautiful FIV+ girlie with a soft white coat that she loves to have brushed. Morticia has had some kittens in the past, but those mom days are behind her. She loves to find a cozy spot on the couch and even better if you join her! She loves getting pets and attention and will sit there for hours while you hangout and couch rot together. Morticia loves wet food, cat nip!, and lots of pets. She is a gentle, sweet soul but can also have some spice to her if any other cat wants to play and she doesn’t. Morticia is used to having other cats around, so we think she’ll do well in a home with other calm, friendly kitties. She once lived with dogs, so we think with proper intros she would do fine sharing a home with them. Morticia is sweet and gentle, so we believe she would do well with children of all ages.

Morticia is approximately 2.5 years old, spayed, microchipped, tested FIV positive and FELV negative. This means she can live safely in a home with both FIV+ and - cats. She has had a dental while in our care, dewormed, flea treated, and vaccinated for Rabies, FVRCP, and FELV. Apply today for this gorgeous snowy white girl to help keep the winter time blues away!

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Typically we talk a little with potential adopters to find a cat who is a good fit before sharing the application.

2.

Approve Application

We check over the application including checking vet references and doing landlord checks.

3.

Interview

We spend more time chatting with the adopters to specifically go over any questions from the application and details about the specific cat.

4.

Meet the Pet

Potential adopters have a meet and greet with the cat or kitten in the foster home.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

At the meet and greet, if all goes well, the adoption contract can be signed, the fee can be paid, and the pet can go home!

6.

Pay Fee

7.

Additional adoption info

We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

More about this rescue

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.

Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
