Meet Cooper!
Cooper is a loyal, loving boy who is once again looking for his forever home through Pet Rescue By Judy. He was originally adopted from us several years ago and spent four happy years with his family. Unfortunately, he was recently returned due to changes in the dynamic between him and the family’s other dog.
Cooper lived successfully with another dog for years, but as both dogs aged, tensions began to develop. After much thought and with Cooper’s best interest at heart, the family made the very difficult decision to return him to the rescue so their senior dog—who had been with them longer and would struggle with a transition—could remain in the only home he has known. This was a loving, heartbreaking decision made out of care for both dogs.
Now Cooper is ready for his next chapter—and he has so much love and adventure to offer.
Cooper is an active, happy companion who truly enjoys life. He loves going camping, taking long car rides, and exploring new places. Whether it’s a road trip, a walk, or just spending time in the yard, Cooper is happiest when he’s included. He’s used to starting his mornings with long walks—often 3 to 4 miles—so he would be a fantastic match for an active individual or family who enjoys the outdoors.
Cooper enjoys playing in the yard, going just about anywhere with anyone, and being part of daily life. He’s the kind of dog who makes a great adventure buddy and loyal best friend
