I found Bug in the wheel well of an abandoned car in Hoh rainforest when I was working as a NPS ranger. She was tiny and emaciated - the vet I took her to the same day said she was found in the nick of time (he’s the one who identified her as a Pixiebob). With worming, shots, lots of food and tlc, she has gotten to where she is thriving physically (13-14 lbs). She is still very emotionally needy - loves me and my boyfriend, but she’s very territorial. We have another smaller cat to whom she’s taken an intense dislike, and I fear for the little one’s safety. I believe Bug will do well in a house with adults where she’s the only cat. She doesn’t take to strangers quickly, but when she’s given time she likes to interact with them
