Turkey is an 11-year-old male domestic medium hair cat with a sweet soul and an appreciation for his own space. He’s a gentle old guy who enjoys a calm environment where he can relax comfortably and do things at his own pace. Turkey isn’t demanding, but he enjoys quiet companionship and, most of all, a good serving of wet food. He would be a wonderful match for a home that understands and appreciates the charm of a senior cat. We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only. Our adoption fee is $150.00 for dogs, $75 for kittens under 6 months of age and $50 for all cats 6 months and older. This will include a rabies vaccination (if age appropriate), spay or neuter, a microchip with registration, and all other age appropriate vaccinations.

We are the all admittance shelter in Johnson County, we are not a 501c3, but a county run facility. We try our best to place each and every animal. We also house all animals picked up by Animal Control therefore; we intake a high volume of animals each year.
