Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Playful, Cuddly, Caring
If you're thirsting for sweetness with a dash of spunk, we have the perfect oasis - meet Desert! He is an active and energetic kitten with an affectionate side too. When he's not busy on one of his adventures, he loves getting picked up, held and cuddled!
Desert has a blast playing with his little stuffed monkey and has so much fun catching feathery wand toys! He runs and climbs with zest and abandon, but jumping can be a little tricky. He was born with an abnormality in one of his hind legs. So, jumping doesn’t always go smoothly. But, Desert isn’t the least bit daunted by his less than perfect leaps and watching him attempt them will keep you smiling!
One of the most endearing things about Desert is his devotion to his mom, Sahara. This baby worships his mommy! They play together, hang out, snuggle up and, because Sahara is blind, Desert also guides her - making sure she can easily navigate her environment. This adorable mother and son are closely bonded and they must be adopted as a pair. See more of Sahara on her page: tinyurl.com/yetzk6jn
It just doesn’t get any sweeter than these two best friends, always there for each other and spectacularly adorable to boot! Ready to welcome this loving mother and son team into the fold of your family? Contact us to meet them!
For more information or to meet Desert and Sahara, please email adopt@austinpetsalive.org.
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
