My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Odin, a 5-year-old orange and white tabby (male, neutered), a “nice-sized” guy with a calm personality and a big appetite for both food and affection. I’m an indoor, litter-trained cat who has lived with my sister and even slowly warmed up to a kitten after some initial hesitation, so I could do well with another friendly cat and a slow introduction.

I’m laid-back and easy to care for—just keep in mind that I don't love dogs and will absolutely flip over any water bowl left on the floor (it’s my signature move). I just need a calm foster home for a couple of months while my mom gets back on her feet and finds a safe home for us both.

Our application process is simple and follows the "Adopters Welcome" protocol. Our interview process is conversational. We check animal neglect/abuse registries, but otherwise make adoption decisions based on the mutual conversation.

More about this rescue

Pawster Nashville provides crisis foster care in order to keep pets and their people together. When a pet owner is temporarily unable to care for their pet, we place their dog or cat in a loving foster home until the owner is back on their feet. Occasionally, an owner is unable to be reunited with their pet. In these cases, we place the pet for adoption.
