A Little Bit About Us

Hi! We're Becky and Silvia, two sister cats who love to explore and play. We're a bit shy at first, but once we warm up, we're the most loyal friends you could ask for. Our days are filled with playful adventures and quiet moments by your side. We dream of a forever home where we can share our love and curiosity. Adopting us means double the fun and double the love. We promise to be your faithful companions through all of life's moments.

More about this rescue

We are a group of people dedicated to rescuing dogs from crisis situations, some of which include euthanasia by animal shelters, neglect and other forms of abuse, or "free to a good home" ads, which result in dogs being bounced from one home to another, or being acquired by animal brokers ("bunchers") and sold to research laboratories where they are used for testing then discarded ("cruelty industries").

NBCR&P works primarily with 5 herding breeds, and herding breed mixes. On occasion, NBCR&P also rescues and places other breeds. We foster our dogs in a home environment, rather than a kennel, if at all possible. We take pride in our promise that at any time and for any reason in the dog's life, if the need arises, he or she has a safe place with us ("return to rescue" policy).
